About the World of Darkness

The World of Darkness setting basically takes place in the modern world. Instead of outlining and defining every possible aspect of the world, the game leaves a lot of information vague and unspecified, so players cannot know everything about the game world. There are still surprises to be found. The outlook and atmosphere of the world is a bleak and cynical one. There are hints and clues to legends such as Big Foot, vampires, werewolves, and everything else that fits with the horror or supernatural genre. Players can start out as humans who are investigating the dark supernatural side of the modern world. They are trying to solve mysteries but only end up uncovering more questions. Other than mortals, players can also create one of the main character types from one of the WoD Universe. Each character type, from vampires to changelings, has to deal with their own weaknesses and existence. The horror element can be very personal as your character struggles to control themselves. Vampires have to struggle against their thirst while werewolves fight to control their inner beast, for example.

Basic Requirements for the RP

Please NOTE - we are not trying to be the NUMBER one biggest RP in tK. Nor the most popular. Our concern is posting quality as well as Character quality. We are looking for excellent Rpers who know how to work their own subplots, their own characters without being babysat. If you feel you do not FIT to this, then please do not waste our time. Profiles MUST be done as we've ask and requested for it helps us determine for both possible Stories and quality overall. If you wish to be a part of this RP, then you should have NO issue doing what we have asked. 

PRIOR TO DOING ANY PROFILE, A SAMPLE POST MUST BE OFFERED FIRST. IF THE POST IS SATISFACTORY, WE WILL THEN ASK YOU TO PREPARE A PROFILE.

1a. Characters cannot play UNTIL approved.

 2. Pictures / Images - NO ANIME, PLEASE - this is a Modern Setting. Please use a suitable image that is tasteful. We will not accept images of females near nude, with HUGE boobs, wearing bikinis! Use your E-brain - it must make sense. This RP isn't designed to be a "dating" service.

 3. Not ALL Clans are listed. This does not mean they aren't available for play. Special consideration will be given to those who prove themselves, via posts.

 4. This RP is going to contain items, topcis and events that may offend others. Please be aware of this. Consider the rating R.

 5. Para Posting IS necessary.

 6. Custom Characters are allowed but will be approved on a STRICT basis.
